When Archadeck of the Piedmont Triad initially met with these Lewisville NC homeowners their backyard was in turmoil. They had an existing deck with a structure on it that the home’s previous owner had created. The structure was being used for storage and was not only an eyesore, it had become a thorn in the homeowner’s side because of its lack of function. At the time we met with the homeowners they had already secured two or three estimates on what they wanted to do with the space. The other contractors they met told them their vision simply wasn’t possible. Their goal was to utilize more usable living space inside and out. When Archadeck of the Piedmont Triad entered the picture, things began to change. We were able to fulfill the homeowner’s wishes with an outdoor living space design that not only looked the part, it created more usable outdoor and indoor living space to boot; just what they had in mind!

Our design began by knocking out an existing wall to the great room. We then built a stunning sunroom addition onto that portion of the home which can be utilized for interior and exterior living space. We used vinyl windows in the design of the sunroom and we matched the existing shingles of the home to ensure structural originality with the existing home. We designed a gable roof which allowed the sunroom interior the luxury of an airy feel through the open cathedral ceiling. The sunroom space is wired, insulated, and finished with a drywall interior so the homeowners can paint the space in the hue of their choice. The spacious pressure treated wood deck was designed to deck all the existing outdoor space together with its flowing stairs and landing.
