Greensboro Porch and Deck Make Great Use of Colors

Strong bold decking colors are very popular right now. The deep browns and reds have the warm and rich tones of chestnut and mahogany.

One color that is particularly popular is AZEK’s Acacia warm brown color. AZEK PVC is a tremendously popular decking material because of the performance aspects of the material. Not only is it low maintenance but it carries a 25 year warranty against everything from cracking and splitting to blistering, peeling, flaking, cupping, rotting and even from structural defects from termites and fungal decay.

This project in an upscale Greensboro development used AZEK decking, rail cap and edge bands and also AZEK material on the stairs. Contrasting the warm brown is the railing in Chippendale pattern and the lattice below the elevated porch. To add to the warm colors, the windows are bronze with charcoal screen color. The decking boards are laid in a diagonal pattern contrasting angles where the deck meets the screened porch. The screen panels are upgraded with PGT windows to give them a longer use time into the Fall and Winter. We also added a new door into the home and a new kitchen window.

Choose Archadeck to be your Greensboro deck and porch builder

At Archadeck we look at every detail of the design. You can see that we paid extra attention to the stairs and the direction they empty into the yard. Nobody wants the stairs off their deck to empty into the fence at the side of the yard. The deck uses a rounded motif which you can see matches the bay area on the back of the home.

Take a look at the back of the home before their addition. You can see that this home was completely transformed.
